There are still some bugs in 1.1, but nothing too severe. So the next thing to come will be a proper new release. At least three new races are planned—in addition to that, there'll be some adjustments to difficulty, item spawn rates, interface, AI etc. Not to mention a number of bugfixes. And at least one new item.
I rewrote the way monsters pick their targets to prevent some bugs from happening, but it might've caused new ones. Oh well.
Are there any plans to add variance in stats to the starting characters?
ReplyDeleteLike Lotta Having boosted health and stamina, but with reduced Willpower as an example, and only an example.
Not this release. But in the future, yeah. Also things like trap avoidance rates and stuff?
DeleteYeah, that'd be cool.
DeleteNew release, new release!
ReplyDeleteAlso yes I want to know the above. I know you're interested in doing magic spells, but some variance would be interesting. I'd still probably play my favs anyway, but still.
Been wondering is there any way to heal or break out of charms?
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, breaking a charm is impossible. I'm still planning to test Remedy on a charmed NPC to see if you can heal other people, but the best cure is prevention.
DeleteI'd like to request an increase in the frequency of dark cloud traps, as they're currently EXTREMELY rare. In fact, Darkslaves are probably the weakest transformation, as their only ability is to transform people into unmoving clouds that deal one damage per round, and have no special abilities to speak of.
ReplyDeleteI really hope they'll be getting some reworking, as they're easily my favorite transformation.
It took me a while to figure out how to use Darkslaves. Transforming into cloud is not their primary TF; What you really want to do is carry your victims back to a cloud. If they're incapacitated and enter a cloud room, they'll transform instantly. So, only 'transform' if you're far from the cloud; Otherwise, carry.
ReplyDeleteAny estimates on the next release date?
ReplyDeletestill waiting...
ReplyDeletebut no info or progress anythin?
ded game
ReplyDeleteIt's been what, a month?
DeleteAs beautiful as this game is, I'm willing to wait a bit for some new content, make it look good.
1) I love the game, good work.
ReplyDelete2) The idea is to lose, but have you considered refining the balance for different monsters, or increasing the drop rate for healing items? It feels like you're on the edge of something pretty interesting here if you'd only explore it. It almost feels like something you could turn into a roguelike.
I really love this game but I wish there were things you could do after you've been transformed.
ReplyDeleteThere is! You go and transform the other humans.
DeleteWhat happened? July 27th, great and all, pumped up, waiting for that next update, then BAM, no news for a month.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this looks pretty dead
